Artist Update: Building Velvet Grave One Step at a Time

If you've been following my journey, you already know that Velvet Grave Tattoo Studio is more than just a business to me. It's a dream that I've spent a long time building, one step at a time.

Lately, I've been wearing a lot of different hats. I've been creating policies, designing my website, working on marketing, ordering supplies, earning certifications, building my portfolio, and learning everything I can about tattooing and running a business. Some days feel like I own a tattoo studio, run an office, manage a marketing company, and attend school all at the same time.

At the same time, I've remained committed to maintaining my sobriety. That journey has taught me discipline, patience, and perseverance, all of which have helped me build something I can truly be proud of. There have been challenges along the way, but every obstacle has reminded me why I started.

Velvet Grave isn't simply a studio. It's a fresh start, a creative outlet, and proof that even the most difficult chapters can become the foundation for something beautiful.
